Sat 11.03 E. Rutherford, NJ IZOD Arena
Dena - Just want to say that at VH's 11/3/07 concert in East Rutherford, NJ, I sat in the first row of the pit right in front of Wolfgang. Then I look to my left and there’s Valerie Bertinelli with a friend shouting "I love you!" to Wolfie.
Chris Rock also showed up next to us (I shook his hand), along with what appeared to be a couple of Wolfgang’s friends. The show was awesome. I also saw them in Philly on 10/3 and plan to see them at MSG in NYC on 11/13. It’s great to see Dave back where he belongs.
Valerie - 11/3/07 Meadowlands, NJ show-Waited a very long time for this and went home disappointed. The sound was awful, whose fault not sure but it sounded like a transitor radio for most of the night. Eddie was true to himself, amazing as always, however, David Lee Roth lost his pure lead rock star image and showed up as a flashy, cheesey Vegas joke. My husband who previously only saw Van Halen with Hagar went home that night still believing Van Halen with Hagar was better, and that hurt. I'm sorry I didn't just leave my memories of them as they were when I last saw them for their Diver Down tour.
Daniel - Yea, just wanted to say you have a great site here, thanks for keeping up to date.I Saw Van Halen last week in East rutherford New jersey, for the first time, so im new to this site pretty much. It was a nearly amazing show, and im proud to have seen Van Halen, i mean who can play better on the drums or guitar especially in a live setting?. incredible. Donna - What happened since the Philly show? The band was awesome in Philly, sounded just like the albums I was completely blown away on how awesome that show was. Saw them again in NJ last saturday and it was the worst show I have ever seen! I don't understand what happened?
Mike - I was at the concert on Nov 3. At the Izod Arena in New Jersey. It was by far the BEST concert I have ever seen. The sound was perfect, the singing outstanding. Eddie looked and sounded great. He is one talented dude. Even Wolfgang did great. The crowd was a bit of a bummer though, they just didnt seem as into it as I was. It was as if they were at there first VH show and didnt know any of the words.The show just flowed perfect, I wish it didnt have to end. Excellent!!!!
Diane - I went to the show at Continental Airlines arena in New Jersey last night. I was very disappointed. The sound was terrible. I loved Wolfgangs playing thought he was amazing but the bass over powered every thing. Could not hear Eddie or Davids vocals all that well. Any one else have the same experience?
