Thu 10.18 Chicago, IL United Center

Nardy - The Oct 18 Chicago Van-Halen show was superb! Diamond Dave forgot some (make that several) lyrics and even admitted so with a declaration of "I forgot the fuckin words!" during Beautiful Girls but, he was in top form nonetheless. Eddie was of course Eddie as usual. Fantastic! It's cool to note that he and Diamond D did quite a bit of interacting as oposed to the prev. tour w/ Sammy Hagar where Eddie & the Red Rocker kept there distance. I hope they were actually enjoying themselves b/c the audience sure as hell did!

Gary D. - Hey, Warren - This is Gary D. and as promised review of 10/18/07 United Center show to follow up with the review I sent you from the Allstate Arena 10/16/07.  The first show as AWSOME as it was must of been a windy city tune up. This show was tighter.Wol fie seemed liked he was having a blast. A true professional at 16 They tore down the house. Chicago loves Van Hal en. The 24 song set list flew by so fast we could of taken a 45 minute break and come back with another 24 songs:-)  I was actually considering a 4.5 hour drive to Detroit for the 01/19/07 show, but ..... got in the way.  I would hope after the tour is complete and the boys are well rested they do a new Album and hit the road again.  Regards, Gary Loyal Van Halen Fun

Carrie C. - Van Halen: I just wanted to say you guys always have and always will......ROCK!!!!!!!   My husband and I saw your show last night at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. It was amazing and made us feel like teenagers of the 80's at a Van Halen concert! Everyone of you brought it!! Totally and completely!!!
And as a Mom of a teenaged musician I can say that it brought tears to my eyes not only seeing Wolfgang on stage with his Pops but hearing Eddie say he loves his kid - and genuinely showing that love & pride. CLASS ACT GUYS!!!! Even though our seats weren't great, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I hope you all go on to be the number 1 concert of the decade. LONG LIVE VAN HALEN.
P.S. Great job Wolfgang!!!! Always and Forever a VanHalen FAN!!!!!!!

Gary - Awsome Awsome Awsome - The wait was worth it. The set list was right on.  I forgive Dave for a mind cramp during Dance the Nite Away as he foregot some of the words of which he let the entire arena know he screwed up but it was no big deal as we all filled in the lyrics for him. The song arangements were great. Example Someone Get Me a Doctor, they mixed in some licks from Humble Pie's I don't Need no Doctor, and Cream's Spoonfull, and a little bit of Led Zeplin too. There were so many ponit during the 2.5 hr show that made you smile and laugh as well. It is great to see our generation bring our kids to awsome show like this. It goes to show our gemeration of music has and will always pass trhe test of 100 % of the time.  Who ever was the lucky person who received the autographed framed picture sitting in the pit could you post a digital picture for all to see. How cool was it the band to do that. VIP ticket purchaes does have nice perks :-)  I will post a reviww for the 10/18/07 show at the United Center as I will be in the house.  Rock On
