Rob R. 9/28/07 - I have been one of the most devoted Van Halen fans since I was 13 , I'm now 38. A Musician myself, Van Halen inspired me so deeply that I brand the same tattoo on my right arm as Eddie and have for 10 yrs. I'm not up on all the exact facts on ever show, picture, news and event that has taken place over the last 30 yrs., but I just wanted to say this. I couldn't help but be up on whats happening now and I want to say that I'm very dissapointed with the way Van halen has let there band go down in History. No matter how talented you are, you can't play your way into doing what is right, and that they haven't done in about , lets say, since their first breakup with Sammy.

Michael B. 9/20/07 - Where can I vent on Michael Anthony being left out of reunion tour. His backround vocals are signature for Van Halen as much as Eddie's guitar. Eddie must be a real tool! I was all fired up about getting tickets to see Van Halen, not so any more. Leave it to Eddie once again to disappoint the fans without giving a rats ass! Selfish prick!

Warner L. 9/24/07 - Keep up the good work. This was/is an incredible band. Have seen each version at least twice through good years and not so good. Keep the informative articles and info. coming and the B.S. late comer, blogger/posters away.  Thanks for posting straight scoop and worthwhile content on this incredible American band. Especially good work on the tour rehearsal stories.

Duke S. 9/19/07 - I think Ed's problems have extended to Michael Anthony. I don't think, after all these years of loyalty, that Michael should have to pay for Ed's addiction problem, regardless of how good or bad his son is on bass guitar.  It's totally unfair. Especially in light of the fact that Dave is back...for now. I liked it a lot better when Eddie was just an amazing guitarist and didn't say much. Now he just seems to be ruining everything he touches. Very sad.

Jeff B. - 9/17/07 - I'm 44 and I saw Van Halen 4 time's at the Roanoke, VA Civic center in the 70's and 80's. The first of which was for the Van Halen I tour and all with David Lee Roth. I was 16 years old at the time and they blew me away! Folks be prepared to be ROCKED! These will be the best rock concerts you have ever seen! I've waited for this tour for many years. I just hope I can manage to get some tickets either in Charlotte or Greensboro. I would like to see Michael Anthony as the bassist, but young Wolfgang will probaly do quite well. Let's face it he learned from one of the best, if not the best rock guitarist ever! Together with Diamond Dave, what a show you're gonna see. At least I know that I've seen the original band 4 times, not everybody can say that. I even have have two of those ticket stubs that I have saved all these years. One is from the Van Halen I tour, 1978.

Debbie - 9/5/07 - I'm glad that I found this site. I love Van Halen. They are one of the best bands ever. Glad to see them touring again. Will they be coming to Texas? Hope so. That is where I live. Let me know. I wish the best for the band in everything that they do. They deserve the best!!!

Kat - 9/5/07 - Why so FRIGGIN much for the tickets, thought it would be great to bring the kids to check you guys out, but no such luck, and hey good luck on selling out. Thats really sad that the tickets have to be so much. you could have gotten a bigger following and a new following with the younger crowd, but they have to sell crack to be able to afford the tickets to your show, sad day for rock and rollers around the world, sad, sad day!!!

Lonnie M. -8/21/07 - I one for find the fact that they screwed micheal over is B.S. Van halen is no longer Van Halen, they are a joke. How do you let a 16 yr old go on tour with something this big. does eddie really think it was all him all the time? Pissed off fan

Scott S. 8/20/07  - Thanks guys, this is by far the best vh site i have found yet.

Steve S. - 8/20/07 - I have always enjoyed VH, but I will not travel to see VH without Michael Anthony. As many others excitement of learning of a reunuion tour were crushed just as fast. It really is a shame. I could understand if the tour started off with him and then things happened. Atleast Kiss gave the fans what they really wanted!!

KMR - 8/20/07 - O.K., now I know my once favorite band really SUCKS !!! with the continued news of the Michael Anthony slam. VH better have good security cuz there's some pissed off fans ready to unleash the fury. He's(MA) ok with it 'cuz he's in the BETTER HALF. A 16 year old on bass ? Come on Ed who you tryin' to fool ? And doesn't he need to finish school ? I hope you all have trip insurance and tickets to the first show cuz this is gonna break down faster than Brittney Spears . Hey wait. Isn't she Ed's new girl friend ???

Timothy Y. 8/20/07 - F**k eddie for dissing on Michael Anthony. he, deserves to have only one person in his audience...himself.

Chip 8/17/07 - I wish the guys a lot of luck on the upcoming tour with Dave, they will definitely need it. I'm betting the tour does not finish all of its dates. By this time we all have a good grip on the idea that Eddie is the problem personality in this band and really always has been. Drunks are typically drunks because they are compulsive souls who will always be compulsive about something. Eddie has to have all his own way and that is what has killed this band all along in spite of his great talent after the ousting of Sammy. They have not been "great" or even good since. Being a musician myself of some 25 years now, I know this is true. This is VH's last chance to be taken seriously by anybody much less their fans, Eddie better get his arrogant shit together. if I had a chance to talk to him I would tell him to get over himself and start thinking of his band in terms of how he would like to see them go out....a great band or a band that was killed by the antics of an arrogant drunk.

Krissy 8/17/07 - Shame on Van Halen. Their ticket prices are outrageous. My husband and his friend has been huge fans for years. Didn't matter who the front man was...they still camped out for days waiting for the tickets to go on sale. These guys damn near wet their pants when they found out that there was going to be another tour. Forget about it....these guys have kids, and there is no way they can even afford the nose-bleed tickets. What a slap in the face to the true fans who have bought every album they could get their hands on. So much for really appreciating the fans

Doug P. 8/16/07 - Eddie, Alex, DLR, and Michael Anthony.  Say it like it is and start a boycott of the tour until Anthony is back in the band. Otherwise, this is a f'n joke

James S. 8/16/07 - Damn man! Yall aint comming to Texas? Houston, Dallas, San Antonio or nothing. We need that Van Halen in Texas man.

Jeff E. 8/15/07 - Why are there no dates for the entire State of Florida?? I've been a Van Halen Fan since your first album and have been wanting this for a decade or more. Sammy was good but the band lost a raw edge in their music Dave left or was kicked out or whatever. I want to hear that driving rock that I fell in love with but won't be given the opportunity because you are not coming to Orlando or Tampa or Miami. Three cities that are international in scope, how could you leave them out?  Truly disappointed, Jeff

Russ G. 8/15/07 - The worst idea ever by an aging, over the hill guitarist!!! 1. Did anyone see the Hagar/Roth tour?? Roth was out manned and out performed by Hagar!! Van Halen was on the brink of extinction... and now going on tour with Roth, they will lose all credibility!!!  Van Halen is billing this as a reunion??? Who the hell wants to see wolfgang.. nothing against him but, tell Edward to quit fucking all his band mates!!! He was the one with all the problems.. home and on the road.  Get over yourself Mr. Guitar lengend.  This is from a life long VH fan!!

Keith R. 8-15-07 - I'm gonna puke. A stage that resembles a BIG $. Obvious forced smiles at the staged press conference. Now, only half the shows y'all talked about. And no Mike ! Guess he had the last laugh hugh ? A 16 year old who's never been in band, much less a Stadium stage. This is a bigger rip off than Ed's EVH guitars. What are tickets gonna cost ? ( if you can get them) triple digits . four sure. Somebody get me a doctor !!!
