Scott B. - I Just saw van halen in indy at conseco fieldhouse. I Would say I have been to over 150 concerts from the rolling stone /pink floyd/judat priest/and ozzy. This was the greatest concert I have ever seen! Nobody sat down for over 2 hrs as eddie/wolfy/dave and alex poured out hit after hit. It was incredible. I Want to go again even though tickets are a little pricie. Keep rockin guys
Paul S. - Make sure you buy good seats if you are in a big arena. I was sitting in the 4th row from the top, couldn't see the screen behind the stage because of the hanging speakers which I couldn't hear. So much reverb at the top that it was hard to pick out what they were playing at times, much less understand anything spoken (that wasn't lyrics). I wish I would've been able to get better seats, if I knew how bad it would've been, I wouldn't have gone. I assume that everyone played well. The people on the floor looked like they were having a good time. All I have to say is, buyer beware. Everyone should get to see/ hear the show, just wish I could've.
Len K. - I just saw the Indy show last night - Oct. 14th. Wow - that's all I can say. I saw them twice in the 80s with Diamond Dave, and they look better then ever. They have something to prove, and they are proving it every night. They get better as the show gets longer. It's a catalogue of the classics - pure 'in your face' rock. Remember what that felt like ?? See'em now, or you'll regret it. Pay what you have to, and take someone. Diamond Dave lives - I'm so glad Eddie buried the hatchet. Dave might move a little slower, but he is so vocally focused right now. The party animal has become the professional - what a treat to the long-time fans. RUN - buy your tickets now !! There is a God, my friend.
Troy S. - I just got home from the Indy show...simply amazing...Van Halen fan for years ,followed all the ups downs..change etc...They are amazing still after all these years..If you are looking for a great show..top notch music and a great time..look no further...go see the show. Dave can carry the show..Ed is on top of his game as good as ever the rest do what they should..these guys earn every dime..I would see them again if the chance comes my way@!!!!
